Goodisson, "A historical and topographical essay upon the islands of Corfu, Leucadia, Cephalonia, Ithaka and Zante" (1822), στο οποίο περιλαμβάνεται λιθογραφία άποψης τμήματος των τειχών της αρχαίας Ακρόπολης Αλαλκομενών, στην Ιθάκη. Μπροστά από τα τείχη στέκεται άνδρας με παραδοσιακή ενδυμασία του ελλαδικού χώρου, ο οποίος μπορεί να λειτουργεί και ως κλίμακα για την κατανόηση του μεγέθους των τειχών.
