Description
Trefoil-mouth oinochoe with flaring ring foot with flat resting surface and flat undersurface, spherical body, rounded shoulder, tall thin neck with concave sides, flaring trefoil rim with rounded lip. Vertical strap handle attached to lip and shoulder. Decoration: Resting surface and undersurface of foot reserved. Exterior of foot, body, neck, and rim black glazed except for a reserved band below handle and above max. diam. at H. 0.107-0.127 consisting of a single reserved stripe on either side of a reserved band decorated with zigzag line, and a second reserved panel on neck consisting of three zigzag lines bordered by two reserved lines. Handle reserved with its back decorated with horizontal bars with vertical stripe along either edge. Decorative scheme, except for handle decoration, similar to W 21 (Corinth VII.i no. 28).
