Description
Low base, slightly flaring ring foot. Open ovoid body. Vertical rim with slightly out-turned lip. Two round, upturned, horizontal handles begin 0.017 below lip. Cf. C 1973 154. Decoration: Bottom of base unglazed; outside of foot and body glazed except for decorated band between handles on both sides of four horizontal black-glaze bands with brown-orange running zig-zag between second and third band. Part of body glaze misfired red. Handles glazed on exposed surfaces. Underside of handles reserved. Interior glaze mostly gone. Technique: WM
