Description
Block with single rope channel (W00.035 Depth00.022) running length of undersurface. Block's end, face smoothly finished; bottom more roughly chiselled and slightly concave in transverse section. Ca. 0.20 m. from end, small part of recessed panel (MPW00.035) on face; preserved from bottom edge to H00.12, where face broken away. No stucco preserved, nor is surface noticeably rougher than rest of face but almost certainly was stuccoed (See A-1972-33, A-1971-147,-148). Unrecessed part of face probably received vertical timber in half-timbered wall frame.
